(Left Hip and Thigh)
After the repair of the horrible kanji, I decided I wanted some more ink from my new artist. I took him a picture of a basic tribal with some lotuses that I’d seen and said I liked. He looked at it, nodded, and said “I can do better thanthat.”
This was what he came back with. Feminized the tribal with some curls, shading and depth, and completely overhauled the lotuses. Also added blue clouds and some cherry blossoms for good measure.
It took me several sessions because I don’t heal easily, but when it was all said and done, I was extremely happy. This picture was taken 12 years after I got it. Still looks pretty damn good, I think, but coming up on time for a touch up.
